About this 1 -day Workshop
“An exploration of moving and being moved through TRE & Dance Movement”
Join us for an immersive experience brought to you through a collaboration between The Moving Circle & TREAustralia, combining expertise in therapeutic movement and trauma release.
This unique event encourages you to explore the art of movement & being moved, i t provides an opportunity to engage with your nervous system, reduce stress, boost your well-being, ignite your creativity and cultivate resilience in a safe and supportive environment.
Our goal is to guide you towards a deeper, more mature understanding of movement & flow by offering philosophical and spiritual perspectives that can influence your entire life. Join us for this enlightening experience and learn how to move and be moved towards a more harmonious existence.
Who This Workshop Is Suitable For:
This 1-day workshop is open to general public & you do not have to have previously learnt TRE. If you haven’t previously learnt TRE however we invite you to experience the technique through the free online TRE course at www.trecourse.com before attending the workshop (but it’s not compulsory)
If you have any major medical or mental health conditions, have a history of complex or severe trauma, are pregnant or have any concerns about your suitability to participate in a group environment, please email Dianna at info@advancewithhealth.com to complete the pre-screening form before registering for this workshop
Presenters:
Richmond Heath – TRE Certification Trainer, Physiotherapist, Founder of TRE Australia – is an integrative physiotherapist and founder of TRE Australia specialising in high-performance stress prevention and trauma recovery. His profound understanding of TRE empowers participants to safely release stress and tension from deep within.
Dianna Sparrow – Dance Movement Therapist & TRE Provider – brings her extensive knowledge in mind-body connection and therapeutic practices through movement, uniquely blending her skills as an integrative therapist, massage therapist, dance movement therapist & TRE provider. Her passion lies in facilitating nervous system regulation and trauma healing through a humanistic, person-centered approach.
What We Will Explore :
connecting with self & others through movement resonance
moving – exploring volitional movement throught dance movement therapy
being moved – guided TRE group session
exploring the boundary between intentional & spontaneous movements
surrendering to group flow by connecting with a movement & rhythm larger than ourselves.
Please note – the workshop layout will be adjusted according to the needs of the group on the day
Registration:Early-bird registration before Wednesday 25th September – $250 (plus $6.75 humanatix free)
Full registration after Wednesday 25th September – $300 (plus $8 humanitix fee)

What To Bring:
wear loose comfortable clothing to perform simple exercises in
a thick yoga mat, air mattress or thick blankets to comfortably lie on a hard floor for up to 3/4 of an hour
pillows or cushions or anything else you require to be completely comfortable & relaxed lying on your back on the floor
a light blanket for rest times
notepad and pens if you want to take notes
any snacks you require – there will be a short break at morning & afternoon tea time but no food or drinks provided
BYO lunch or walk to local shops and cafes
bathers for a swim during the breaks or after the workshop

Cancellation Policy – Conditions of sale 1. The ticket is sold by Waverley Council ABN: 12 502 583 608 through Bondi Pavilion on behalf of the organisation presenting the activity and is subject to any conditions for that activity and or venue. 2. Tickets are purchased under a no refund or exchange policy. In some instances, such as cancelled events refunds may be payable in line with the Live Performance Australia Ticketing Code of Practice. 3. The right of admission is reserved by management. Latecomers may not be admitted until an appropriate time which may not occur until the first intermission. 4. Recording of any means is strictly not permitted in performance spaces unless otherwise noted. 5. Mobile phones and other devices must be put onto silent for the duration of performances. 6. We may photograph, record and/or broadcast any event and you consent to the use of any image or recording taken of you, and anyone for whom you purchased tickets on behalf of, at Bondi Pavilion.
